Philippe Sudres is Communications Manager for Amaury Sport Organisation, a company which creates and organises leading international sports events. Specialised in the “out of stadium” sector, A.S.O. has internal control of all of the jobs related to the organisation, dissemination and marketing of sports competitions.
With a diploma from the French School of Press Attaches in 1982, Philippe Sudres was brought into the Company of the Tour de France in 1983 as press service assistant. Responsible for the press service of the Tour de France from 1989, he took responsibility for the relations with the television stations in 1994 from Amaury Sport Organisation, created in 1992. In 1999, he rejoined the management committee of the Tour de France before taking on the press services for all of the A.S.O. events in 2001. He was appointed Communications Manager of A.S.O. in 2008 and his work includes the management of events such as the Tour de France, the Dakar Rally, the French Golf Open, the Schneider Electric Marathon of Paris and the Tour de France à la Voile sailing race.
